Complete the National Youth Sector Census

The National Youth Agency (NYA) manages the National Youth Sector Census to provide a baseline of data showing where youth work is taking place, the type of services offered, as well as highlighting discrepancies in funding and areas of local need.
This year the Census will provide detailed insights related to this programme. This will support the development of local Young Futures Prevention Partnerships supporting integrated and preventative approaches to safeguarding those most at risk of being drawn into youth violence.
The Census is located on the Youth Work One digital platform; a one stop shop for training, resources and events for the sector.
The deadline for completing the Census is 30 April. Find out more and ensure your youth provision is counted at https://qrco.de/NYACensusHO

EARLY YEARS FEST – A joint district wide event for Professionals wanting to find out more about local support and advice for families from pregnancy to age 5 and for parents and carers who are interested to know more about what’s available from their local Family Hub.

Funding
Youth Endowment Fund Launches Open Call Funding Round
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) invites proposals from delivery organisations across England and/or Wales that work to reduce young people’s involvement in violence and are ready for rigorous evaluation.
The aim of this open call is to fund and evaluate projects that will help YEF build strong evidence for practices and approaches in areas where clear gaps exist.
Projects need to primarily support children and young people (aged 10 to 18 years) who are either:
- At risk of crime or violence (‘secondary prevention’), or
- Already affected by violence, offending or exploitation (‘tertiary prevention’).
There are no deadlines for this open call.
