We would like to take a moment to express our gratitude to Debs for the outstanding Introduction to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training session she delivered for us in October.
Debs expertise and engaging teaching style made the challenging subject matter more accessible and easier to comprehend. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team, and we genuinely appreciate her commitment and dedication.
We are looking forward to the upcoming Trauma Informed training session with Debs scheduled for November and we have no doubt that it will be just as enlightening as the previous one.

The Big Ambition - Have your say!
The Children’s Commissioner for England, Dame Rachel de Souza, has launched The Big Ambition, a national survey of children and young people across England.
The Big Ambition aims to hear from children across England on what they think is important! In the lead up to the next General Election, the Children’s Commissioner wants to take children’s thoughts, opinions and ideas to decision-makers, to make sure that the Government hears young people’s voices on what they think needs to be done to make children’s lives better in England.
The Big Ambition survey will be open until Friday 15th December.

Youth Endowment Fund - testing for impact
The YEF aims to learn about the effectiveness of different approaches to prevent young people becoming involved in crime and violence and is looking to fund programmes that are well-established and ready for an efficacy evaluation.
The funders are looking for projects that are able to recruit and support a large enough group of children and young people to be robustly evaluated. The minimum number of children and young people applicants will need to recruit in for the evaluation depends on the type of intervention they are delivering:
- Primary prevention programmes - which are universal in provision and aimed at all young people. Reach required: at least 1,000 young people
- For secondary prevention programmes - which are aimed at young people who are at risk of involvement in youth offending. Reach required: at least 800 young people
- For tertiary prevention programmes - which are aimed at young people who have already been affected by violence, offending and/ or exploitation. Reach required: at least 400 young people.
Application closing deadline: 08 December 2023
Amount available per project: Discretionary
